Marketing Manager, Vive VR

We are currently growing our European team, where we are focused on delivering on the promise of consumer and enterprise VR with game-changing technology and best-in-class content.


At Vive, we are working hard to build the future of the VR ecosystem with incredible hardware technology, working with developers to drive innovation on our platform and with Vive Studios and Viveport to invest in and deliver the best VR content (games, video, tools and more!) to our customers.


There is a current opening on the EMEA Vive Marketing team for someone who is passionate about VR and wants to help build the Vive brand out across Europe. We are looking of a proven self-starter who is a results driven, digitally savvy, marketing executive with at least 5 years experience with a major brand or agency who has demonstrable experience of running and executing omni/multi-channel marketing campaigns, preferably in the media and technology space…


  • To input and implement marketing plans for the go to market strategies of Vive product and Vive Studio content and to support sell-in and subsequently drive sell through of the products and propositions in their respective account
  • Work with the Retail Marketing Manager and PR team to integrate all European Vive brand, product and content campaign activity, ensuring adherence to brand guidelines and managing its performance and exposure to the customer.
  • Day to Day management of social, digital media and retail agency teams, including weekly status meetings, overseeing media planning and leading campaign activations.
  • Maximise ROI of marketing spend, to ensure that HTC’s brand and products/propositions get maximum exposure within a given period within their respective account, driving performance and achievement of business targets.

Person Specification


  • Involvement in the VR community within in UK via conferences, meetups or in prior role is a strong advantage
  • Demonstrate experience of running a quarterly Marketing Plan.
  • Has a track record of identifying and creating new marketing opportunities within a channel.
  • Commercially aware, considering and justifying the investment implications and ROI of activities within a marketing plan.
  • Good networker - is able to build effective relationships within the channels at multiple levels.
  • Understanding of social media management, content strategy and publisher marketing an advantage
