Marketing Coordinator / Executive, Viveport VR

The Viveport marketing team in UK & Europe is seeking a passionate, and a customer-obsessed marketing coordinator in HTC’s London office. Reporting to Viveport’s VP of Marketing and with a joint reporting line to Vive’s Marketing Director, Europe, this position will tactically support all consumer and developer facing marketing activities for Viveport, HTC Vive’s VR app store. These activities will include weekly promotions, sustain local marketing campaigns, and various regional partner promotions. We are looking for someone extremely passionate about marketing and VR, ideally with the desire to develop a career in those two focus areas, and a strong desire to elevate the team, product, and ecosystem.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with weekly programming schedule for Viveport, ensuring product mix is completed on time and crafted strategically
  • Coordinate with globally dispersed company stakeholders for various owned placements in support of marketing and promotional campaigns on a weekly basis
  • Support social media planning, creation of content calendars and content management
  • Work with the European Vive team to coordinate and integrate Viveport objectives and marketing planning into the broader Vive ecosystem business in Europe
  • Work closely with marketing teams in the USA to help track campaign elements, communicate feedback on various assets from Viveport team, and more
  • Create and size assets for various owned/earned/paid channels in Photoshop, leveraging existing artwork for Viveport and various app titles as necessitated by individual campaigns
  • Some travel may be required

Person Specification

Experience

  • 3+ years in marketing preferred with proven success with supporting digital marketing campaigns
  • BA/BS required, MBA preferred but not required
  • Experience in or knowledge of VR industry a bonus, plus a passion for growing the VR ecosystem
  • Experience with ongoing digital reporting and campaign analytics
  • Understanding of performance media to drive online conversion and uptake / attachment of subscription services
  • Photoshop skills required; Mastery of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint are a must;
  • Excellent writing skills, organizational, attention to detail, and communication skills.
  • Must have strong command over English and one additional European language (Written and Spoken)
  • Must be able to meet short, competing deadlines and function in a globally-dispersed, fast-paced organization with minimal supervision and flawless execution of duties
  • Should be a team player, have excellent interpersonal skills, be highly collaborative and can develop strong relationships with internal and external parties
