Junior Project Manager, Vive 


The Junior Project Manager has the responsibility for the successful initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling and closure of a project within VIVE, with the support of the operations lead


They will coordinate with all areas of the VIVE team to ensure successful delivery of the project.


The projects are varied from product to contract to service. This role will suit someone who is adaptable, and able to drive resolution without direct authority.


Project Management

  • Keep project plans up-to-date to allow for comprehensive reporting internally and externally.
  • Negotiate and manage internal stakeholder expectation throughout the project lifecycles. 
  • Responsibility to manage project scope to meet budget and schedules. 
  • Define requirements for success factors within project management

Manage Requirements

  • Extract and define detailed delivery requirements to meet internal stakeholders expectation while still keeping VIVE business interests at heart. 
  • Promote project needs and assistance/resources required to the stakeholders and points of interface within HQ to secure project requirements.

Cross functional relationships

  • Develop good working relationships with HQ teams in order to develop and maintain the best delivery techniques, capability and expertise within HTC.
  • Work closely with all internal stakeholders such as other teams i.e. Service, Legal etc.
  • Identify improvements to processes to support both the internal and external VIVE interests, based upon lessons learnt and successes within the ongoing projects.


  • To oversee and manage all key reporting within the operation team.
  • Review and implement new reporting formats to better help VIVE operations.
  • Manage Exec summary reporting to make sure key information is shown at the right times.

General Responsibilities

  • Professional development: Keep abreast of market and customers new launches.
  • Budget: Ensure that HTC VIVE budget is executed with expectations to sales forecasts.
  • Resource management: Optimise resource utilisation in order to meet business targets.
  • Leadership: Lead, motivate and develop the relationships within internal stakeholder teams.
  • Processing invoices: Updating internal processing systems such as E-Procurement and Marketing Funds System.

Person Specification


  • Project management experience.
  • Possesses excellent skills in communication, relationship building and a strong networker.
  • Is not fazed by seniority and is able to challenge upwards.
  • Able to work to tight deadlines..
  • Broad experience across multiple industry sectors
