    The Junior PR Manager will support the European PR Manager in the development and execution of best-in-class communications campaigns to support awareness, sales and community engagement for Vive and smartphone products. To do this, it will be necessary to work closely with the Global PR team (primarily based in the US), the European PR agency network (key markets are UK, DACH, FR, NORDICS, ES & CZ), and departments across the Vive Europe team including Sales & Marketing. We are looking for a highly motivated, fast learner, who will bring enthusiasm and creativity to the role and is committed to be an important contributor to the overall success of the team.


    • Support European PR Manager with day-to-day running of European press office and PR campaign activity for HTC’s hardware, content and services
    • Assist with distribution of PR materials to local teams and creation of online press kits 
    • Drafting of PR materials where appropriate, to include press releases, blog posts and story pitches
    • Day to day liaison with local PR agencies, dealing with inbound enquiries and collation of weekly team reports 
    • Coverage reporting and across the European region, including weekly PR reporting
    • Finance support - raising purchase orders and new vendor requests
    • Minute taking on relevant calls 
    • Tracking and distribution of code for 1st party VR titles and Viveport content to European media
    • Support with local sample seeding for key hardware launches and overseeing of European PR loan stock together with logistics team
    • Scheduling, logistics and where required on the ground support for local media events and trade shows (i.e. CES / MWC)

    Person Specification

    Experience & Knowledge

    • Educated to degree level, with 1-2 years PR experience either in-house or agency.
    • Experience within a Global/European team beneficial
    • Knowledge of VR and/or Smartphone industries would be an advantage
    • Computer literate with intermediate level knowledge of Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
    • Fluency in French and/or German would be an added advantage

    Other relevant details

    • Position located in Slough.  Working from London office may be required on occasion
