  • Overview

    • To plan and coordinate the delivery of pan-European marketing campaigns with stakeholders across Europe for Vive VR and smartphone product launches, offers, sponsorships and ongoing activity. This includes preparing quarterly, monthly and project-specific marketing strategy, plans, budgets, messaging and briefing documents
    • To plan and deliver ad hoc marketing projects

    Responsibilities

     

    • Working with the regional marketing heads and the AVP Marketing, Europe to shape and prepare the quarterly marketing strategy and plans
    • Working with product teams, sales, PR, marketing, design, website managers, trainers and agencies to manage the delivery of pan-European marketing campaigns for new product launches, offers, partnerships, price announcements and sponsorships across Europe
    • To assist the AVP Marketing, Europe in preparing quarterly budgets
    • To ensure regional marketing teams have all necessary product information, copy, assets, timings, pricing, legals and key selling points to execute plans
    • To collaborate with Content teams, product teams, HQ (Taiwan) and the US on global marketing initiatives
    • To identify and action content/hardware marketing partnership opportunities
    • To scope and deliver ad hoc marketing projects such as retail training modules, supplier pitches
    • To provide marketing support for as hoc B2B initiatives
    • To identify and implement marketing processes and establish efficient ways of working
    • To produce regular presentations on European achievements, results and future plans
    • To ensure regular sharing of learnings and results across the region.

    Person Specification

    Experience : Essential

    • Solid marketing campaign management background, preferably with B2C and B2B experience
    • Excellent organisational skills and ability to juggle multiple workstreams simultaneously
    • Commercially minded, identifying and assessing marketing partnership opportunities
    • Able to work in a matrix environment, show initiative and forge strong relationships both internally and externally.
    • Strong communicator
    • Ability to coordinate a wide range of stakeholders in different locations and time zones
    • Fully appraised of GDPR requirements
    • Degree-level educated
    • Ability to challenge and influence the status quo
    • 5+ years broad marketing experience

     

    Experience : Preferred

     

    • B2B and B2C marketing background
    • Additional European language would be useful
    • Background or interest in VR and emerging technologies would be an advantage, but not essential
