Overview

To manage the delivery of a holistic and effective regional marketing plan, developing a Pan-European marketing plan for B2B and B2C with regional marketing leads across Europe for Vive VR and 5G products, accessory launches, offers, sponsorships and ongoing momentum activities. This person will manage marketing efforts for brand position and awareness. They will manage lead generation, web site development and content curation/creation, and sales collateral. This high-impact role will work across functions and interact with clients, vendors, and senior leaders.

Responsibilities

  • To be responsible for the development and management of broad-based B2B marketing programs, implementation, and results.
  • Develop and execute B2B marketing plans
  • To allocate and approve the regional marketing budgets and ensure quality and coordinated execution, message, objectives, measurement and reporting.
  • Provide short- and long-term market forecasts, reports, and trends to assist business development in the acquisition of B2B clients
  • To drive lead generation and responsible for all online and written content to support the company's activities around sales and communications
  • To ensure regional marketing teams have all necessary product information, offers, product, assets, timings, pricing and key selling points to execute plans
  • To collaborate with US Partnership team to ensure EMEA opportunities with hardware partners are maximised across the region.
  • To work with EMEA Developer and Content teams to support local activities promoting the Vive developer platform, deliver engaging used cases and case studies and demo opportunities at events with new partners
  • To collaborate with the broader team on planning and documenting business requirements with ecommerce dependencies including product, marketing, logistics, forecasting and reporting.
  • To identify new and engaging opportunities to increase brand awareness, consideration and sales of the HTC Vive portfolio with sales teams, PR, Digital, retailers, Vive Arts, and other relevant relationships
  • To identify and implement marketing processes and establish efficient ways of working within EMEA local teams
  • To produce regular presentations on achievements, results and future plans
  • To ensure regular sharing of learnings and results across the region.
  • To lead and develop local marketing team members and their agencies

What you will need to succeed:

  • Proven experience developing and implementing B2B marketing programmes across multiple markets
  • Breadth of tactical marketing skills, with a clear understanding of how to implement with channel / ecosystem partners to generate awareness, pipeline and opportunity
  • Skilled in data driven marketing techniques and use of CRM tools
  • Experience working across cultures and geographic markets
  • Technology expertise and relevant industry experience

Person Specification

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Marketing, Business or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience
  • 8+ years of experience in Marketing, and a minimum of 5 years' experience successfully leading Marketing efforts
  • Solid marketing campaign management background, with both B2B and B2C experience
  •  Excellent organisational skills and ability to juggle multiple workstreams simultaneously
  •  Working with international teams, preferably within EMEA
  •  Commercially minded, identifying and assessing marketing opportunities  
  •  Able to work in a matrix environment, show initiative and forge strong relationships both internally and externally.
  •  Strong communicator
  •  Ability to coordinate a broad range of colleagues and team members in different locations and time zones
  • Fully appraised of GDPR requirements
  • Ability to challenge and influence the status quo
  • Exceptional track record of leadership with a willingness to be a player more often than a coach

Experience : Preferred

  • Tech hardware experience
  • Background or interest in VR and emerging technologies would be an advantage
