Overview

Seeking a seasoned, experienced sales leader to join our growing company’s leadership team. In this role, the VP of B2B Sales will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies that drive revenue for the company, and monitoring and reporting on sales goals, adjusting tactics as needed to reach them. The goal is to grow the enterprise business and make Vive propositions well known and easy to buy by enterprises for both large corporates & SME across EMEA, ultimately creating a sustainable business for the company.

 

As a member of the leadership team, the VP of B2B Sales will play a pivotal role in the development and leadership of the business through its scaling journey.  They will work closely with other leaders to drive strategic direction and resource allocation for the company.

Responsibilities

Strategic Sales Management

  • Define and execute the B2B sales strategies that span both direct and indirect routes in order to drive profitable growth
  • Identify prospects and develop sales strategies to secure new business
  • Enhance existing sales model, implement and reinforce discipline and accountability of the team.
  • Manage sophisticated sales processes for corporate and enterprise opportunities.
  • Effectively manage the B2B EMEA function and empower the team to demonstrate consistent results
  • Support transformations to deliver the expected growth (for example outbound lead generation, a new process for existing accounts, etc.).
  • Engage directly with large potential enterprise end customers and support Distributors and VARs to close deals for large corporate tenders
  • Ensure constant oversight of the opportunities pipeline and deliver high win rates and healthy pipeline metrics.
  • Use deep understanding of VR technology and industry software to creatively meet customers’ special requirement
  • Act as an executive sponsor for enterprise opportunities and help the team with solving complex sales situations and building strong C/VP-level relationships with the customers.
  • Represent the company at relevant industry conferences and events

Operational Excellence

  • Deliver consistent and predictable sales results.
  • Effectively communicate to share accurate information and support for the key regional decisions.
  • Manage and constantly update the regional sales forecast to provide a high level of accuracy.
  • Ensure that the right processes, structures, and levels of reporting are in place to scale the sales organization efficiently.
  • Develop and implement needed controls and routines.
  • Manage key growth metrics, generate insights from data and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Work closely with the European and Global VR Marketing / PR team to evangelize HTC’s Enterprise VR propositions, build and communicate lighthouse customer showcases
  • Maintain effective internal communication to ensure that all other internal stakeholders are kept informed of the Account performance and of any issues or opportunities that arise.

Person Specification

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree is a preference.
  • 10+ years of enterprise sales experience required, at least 5 years in a leadership role (Regional Sales Director/AVP of Sales and higher), managing and influencing key stakeholders
  • A wealth of commercial experience driving new business sales through prospecting, outbound lead generation and closing sales
  • Experience selling with a highly consultative approach
  • Demonstrate a stable track record of successfully positioning and winning large scale contracts/projects
  • Experience operating in complex, multi-channel, multi-product enterprise sales environments.
  • Ability to grasp the technical aspects and take accountability for own understanding and knowledge
  • Experience in enterprise (selling of business solution) will be ideal
  • CRM experience is preferred.

  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Work from our Slough office (optional)
  • Willingness to travel across EMEA
